About the Event
The Polaris Star Award Gala is an annual event that brings together individuals, organizations, businesses and activists who are dedicated to combating human trafficking. This prestigious award ceremony, hosted by United Abolitionists, Inc., honors and recognizes the outstanding efforts and initiatives made in the fight against modern-day slavery and exploitation.
In 2024, the Polaris Star Awards Gala will be partnering with It’s a Penalty. An organization that raises awareness through campaigns during major sports events, educating on issues of abuse, exploitation and human trafficking, and equipping people with the knowledge and skills to identify and report suspicious activity. As part of this collaboration, It’s a Penalty will present a powerful panel during the event, discussing innovative strategies and initiatives to combat human trafficking.
